It only takes one bad landing to be down and out for many months. Of course, if one's perfectly sober and sleeps enough, this might be an occurrence that never happens. But the jumping should be a mindful activity taken very seriously; its health benefits are such that you'd want to incorporate it into your lifestyle to ward off arthritis. (I've got arthritis in my left knee, but when I do the Masaai jump at home, it's really relaxing and helps my knee flexibility.)

I dont believe isometrics are no good, isometrics build tendon stiffness, fascia strength, bone density. Best is mixed with Plyometrics
